For the past two-to-three weeks i have been hardening off the Cherry Tomato plant i got from one of the Daycare kids Mother. Today i planted it. I first drilled four drainage holes in the bottom of the pot, then got to filling. I used my Pro-Mix-BX, and filled it about 12 inches from the top, and put a dusting/layer of Dolomite. Massaged that into the potting mix, and then watered the mix. Kept filling and got to about 8 inches from the top and added some Jobes Organic All Purpose Fertilizer 4-4-4. Wet that down and then filled some more. Once done i made a hole for the Tomato, sprinkled some more Fertilizer in the whole and put the Tomato inside.
Thats pretty much it. I have the Tomato planted, with a tomato cage and its all tied up. The pot is so big that i have room in the front to put at least one Bell Pepper which like the exact same conditions as Tomato's so that is nice.
