So today it was sunny (finally) so I got to go out and do some gardening. I planed my row of Bush Cucumber (Contender) and my row of Bush Green Beans. As of today my Raised Garden is planted to its maximum capacity. Now it's all about watering and caring for the plants.
A few days ago I had talked to a Mother of two children that come to Mom's Daycare who is an avid gardener, and she later came back after seeing and hearing about my green thumb with three plants for me to have. A
Zucchini plant, a Yellow Crookneck Squash plant, a Cherry Tomato plant and a vining Cucumber plant. I am following her directions and in the morning putting them outside (under cover from the elements) to "Harden-off" for two weeks, and bringing them back inside when it starts to cool down around 6 pm. Two weeks from now I hope we will also be having warmer weather, so they will be ready to plant somewhere in Mom's garden or in a pot.
